The Arbiter is a multi-function, compact and portable USB-powered desktop audio meter/realtime analyzer intended to provide the ultimate visual confirmation of and insight into your audio signals. Applications include recording studios, mixing/mastering engineers, post-production, music producers, songwriters, live sound, online streamers and anyone else who wants to visually monitor their audio with a dedicated device that does not require a plugin to receive a signal.

How? It’s available in 15 different colors including an N64 edition coming in 7 semi-transparent color options. Once you receive your Arbiter, you can then download the “Kaptive Kontrol” companion software for FREE that lets you deep dive into customizing the color scheme of every single detail for each individual function, re-order or omit functions and beyond!

For the audio engineers in the crowd, the inspiration for designing this came from missing the stereo spectrum analyzer on my Lynx Hilo mastering converter after I sold it, but I took the development here much further than just a stereo spectrum analyzer. I do also own a TC Clarity M, but it’s primarily a loudness meter and only has a combined L+R spectrum analyzer (no stereo spectrum). So, should you already own a Clarity, the Arbiter was designed to pair well alongside it with a much deeper view into the genetics of your audio (10 additional functions compared to the Clarity plus a whole lot more!).
